L. Hawk Cargo – Owner, Earth’s Sweet Pleasures, Biography
Hawk began his professional career in the technology industry. After receiving his training in electronics in the U.S. Navy, he worked at several computer companies, including Intel Corporation, eventually working his way up to Project Manager. In 1990 he began his odyssey into the world of Holistic Healing Arts. While continuing to raise his two teenage children, he realized his dream of helping others by opening up his own healing practice. During this time, he met his current wife, Reonne, who was also a healing practitioner. Together, in 2000, they opened their healing business, Healing With Heart. This developed into a highly successful practice and teaching business. For over seven years the couple has helped several hundred people through their highly successful practice and Quantum-Touch workshops. Two years ago, Hawk began experimenting with creating an organic recipe for the chocolate fudge he has been making the conventional way for over 40 years. In alignment with their beliefs of healing people and the planet, Hawk and Reonne ventured to make the first organic, fair-trade chocolate fudge in the world and market it to stores nationwide. Earth’s Sweet Pleasures launched their website on March 13, 2008, and the new Rich Rainforest Dark bar will be debuted at the National Products Expo in Las Vegas July 17-19, 2008.

 

Reonne Haslett – Co-owner, Earth’s Sweet Pleasures, Biography
Reonne’s background is varied with an emphasis in Marketing and Sales. She spent over 25 years in the business world as a manager in sales and marketing for a number of well-known companies who manufacture products for upscale department stores. From 1989 to 1993 she was first a producer of large- scale expos and then a film producer in Los Angeles, where she oversaw the production of three feature films and worked in various capacities on other film projects. Wanting to spend more quality time with her daughter, she moved home to Northern California in 1993, and opened Phases for Children, a children’s boutique. During this time she began to study the healing arts and in 1999 opened her own practice. In 2000 she co-founded Healing With Heart with her husband, L. Hawk Cargo. The couple has helped several hundred through their healing practice and through the Quantum-Touch workshops that they have taught for 7 years. In March 2008 she and Hawk launched Earth’s Sweet Pleasures, the first company in the world to make organic, fair-trade chocolate fudge.
